About Us

Live-Wire Exteriors

Live-Wire Exteriors was created with the goal to improve how fences, decks and other structures are built. To achieve this goal, Live-Wire Exteriors focuses on three key areas in the construction process.

Keys to Success

These key areas allow for quality structures that will endure the elements and protect your financial investment. The initial price may be slightly higher, but over time the repair savings and the soundness of the products speak for themselves.

Fastners

Nails are the industry standard for adhering pickets to posts. However, over time the pickets pull away from the post due to wood expanding in changing temperatures. Nails do not accommodate this expansion and ultimately the picket is pulled off of the post. In order to avoid this issue, Live-Wire Exteriors uses screws to adhere pickets to posts. This adjustment allows for wood to expand and stay intact.

Depth of Posts

The industry standard for fence post burial with fencing is anywhere between 1.5-2ft in the ground. However, over time the poles will start to lean and cause fencing to fall. In order to combat this issue, the team instituted a standard of 3 ft for all fencing poles. For pole barns, instead of 3 ft holes, Live-Wire Exteriors adds an extra foot and reinforces each hole with rebar and concrete to ensure protection against high winds.

Notching

Instead of only screws supporting the weight of an entire deck, Live-Wire Exteriors adds notches to each 6x6 post, which allows each post to support the deck as well.

What Our Clients are Saying

We are absolutely in love with the fencing done by Live-Wire. These guys were out here from sun up to sun down getting our fence completed for 3 days straight, rarely taking breaks in between work. Will definitely be using them in the future to fence off more of our property!!!!

I give LiveWire my highest rating, Payton and crew worked continuously in some bad weather to complete the job on time and within budget. They ran almost 3 miles of wire fence with wooden posts. All work was completed with attention to detail…fence lines straight, posts driven properly and wire attached correctly. I’ve had Payton and team do three separate jobs now and expect to schedule one for summer 2022. A++

The quality of there work is just outstanding!! All of them have the best manners and kept our property spotless the whole time they were here. If there is anyone looking for a great job, these guys are what your looking for!! Job well done!!!
